Dr. Cronin earned her Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2018). She also earned her M.A. in Psychology from Illinois (2015) and her B.S. in Biological Sciences and Psychology from the University of Notre Dame (2012). In 2021, Dr. Cronin joined the faculty at Drake University, where she teaches introductory psychology, sensation and perception, and cognitive psychology classes.
Dr. Cronin is interested in the mechanisms that guide visual attention, the role visual attention serves in processing our visual environment, and the relationship between visual attention and visual working memory.
During her time away from the classroom and the lab, Dr. Cronin enjoys spending time with her partner, her two cats (Pippin and Tibbs), knitting, and baking.
